An enchanted garden of earthly delights! Our lush, green botanical impression comes from the "12 Months of Flowers", a series of extraordinarily beautiful hand-colored engravings from the 18th century. The prints were commissioned by the famous English gardener Robert Furber and were published as a seasonal catalog of flowers and seeds. We chose the spring prints for their delightfully detailed flowers, then overlaid them to create a wild and wonderful print that captures the lushness of the garden. The charming bumblebee molding comes from a late 19th century museum seed catalog.
